Scrap Material Sculptures
Work built entirely from discarded metal. Nothing is cast; every piece is an assembly of sorted scrap welded onto an engineered steel armature until the found objects resolve into a form.
The elephant
Monumental, and built from chain, pipe, gears and machine components, with painted decorative panels set into the body. It is the clearest statement of what the technique does: at distance, an elephant; up close, a scrapyard, legible piece by piece.
That double reading is the entire craft. Either half is easy on its own — a recognisable silhouette, or an interesting pile of metal. Making both true simultaneously is the difficulty.
Smaller studies
The torso assembled from cut pipe sections uses repetition rather than variety — hundreds of identical circular ends describing a body through density alone. It is a study in how little variation a form actually needs.
Architectural scrap
The scrap-built temple structure extends the technique from figure to architecture: shikhara, mandapa and spire built up entirely from reclaimed material, at a scale a person can walk into.
