Privacy Policy
Last updated 4 August 2026
This website does not ask you for personal information, does not run analytics or advertising trackers, and sets no cookies of its own. If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or in person, we keep only what we need to quote for and carry out the work you are asking about.
Who we are
M/s Graphic Arts ("Graphic Arts", "we", "us") is a sole proprietorship registered in Uttar Pradesh, India, with its place of business at B. 29/18-A, Lanka, Sankat Mochan Road, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh 221005, India. The proprietor is Anand Mishra. Our GSTIN is 09ACZPM2518A1ZH.
For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), we are the Data Fiduciary for any personal data you provide to us directly.
What this website collects
Nothing that identifies you. This is a static website. Specifically:
- No cookies are set by this website.
- No analytics or advertising trackers are installed — no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording.
- No enquiry form submits data to us; our contact routes are telephone, WhatsApp and visiting the studio.
- No third-party embeds load on these pages. Our typeface is served from our own domain rather than a font service, so no request is made to a third party when you read a page.
Our hosting provider records standard server logs — IP address, timestamp, page requested, browser user-agent — as an ordinary part of serving a website and protecting it from abuse. We do not use these logs to identify individuals and we do not combine them with anything else.
If this changes, this page changes. Should we later add analytics, an enquiry form or an embedded map, we will update this policy before doing so and change the date at the top.
When you contact us
When you call, message us on WhatsApp, email us or visit the studio, we will normally hold some or all of the following:
- Your name, phone number and, where you give it, your email address.
- The organisation you represent, for institutional and government enquiries.
- Details of the work discussed — site, dimensions, materials, drawings, photographs and reference images you send us.
- Quotations, correspondence, invoices and payment records.
We use this only to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation, carry out work you commission, and meet our legal and tax obligations. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it for marketing to people who have not asked to hear from us.
WhatsApp and telephone
WhatsApp is operated by Meta, not by us. If you contact us there, your use of that service is governed by Meta's own privacy terms as well as this policy. We can only control what we do with a message after we receive it. The same applies to your mobile network operator for calls and SMS.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or trade personal data. We share it only where it is necessary:
- With our accountant and with tax authorities, for invoicing and statutory filings.
- With transporters and installation contractors, where delivery to your site requires it — limited to the address and contact details needed to make the delivery.
- Where we are required to by law, a court, or a government authority.
Photographs of completed work
We photograph work we produce, and we may show it in our portfolio, on this website and in tender submissions. We publish client names, commissioning dates and dimensions only where we have permission to do so.
If you have commissioned work from us and would prefer it not to appear publicly, or you would like it removed, tell us and we will take it down. You do not need to give a reason.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are kept only as long as the conversation is live. Project records, quotations and invoices are kept for as long as tax and contract law requires, and because a client may need documentation of a piece we made years earlier — which, for public sculpture, is a routine request.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you may ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data of yours we hold and what we have done with it.
- Correct anything inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
- Erase data we no longer have a lawful reason to keep.
- Withdraw consent you previously gave, where consent is what we relied on.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to.
Ask by phone on +91 98381 06730, on WhatsApp, or in writing to the studio address above. We will respond within a reasonable period. There is no charge.
Grievance redressal
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data or your request, raise it with the proprietor, Anand Mishra, at the address and phone number above. If it is still unresolved, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data about them. Enquiries about commissions come from adults acting for themselves or for an organisation.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including limiting who in the studio can access project records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change, and the date at the top will change with it. Material changes affecting how we use information you have already given us will be brought to your attention directly.
